We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.

This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.

THE ROLE

Drive the future of global operations as the CTO Technical Project Manager leading our Supply and Demand Planning digital transformation. In this critical, high-visibility role, you will spearhead the integration of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) within Project Mercury (our enterprise ERP overhaul), directly shaping our future hardware Configure-to-Order (CTO) capabilities. You will collaborate closely with global supply chain leaders, technical engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable planning solutions. Your mission is to build a high-performing planning ecosystem that directly optimizes inventory and scales our global fulfillment strategy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own Workstream Execution: Lead the strategy, lifecycle, and deployment of the Supply & Demand Planning and Materials Management workstream, ensuring seamless integration of SAP IBP modules with our broader ERP ecosystem.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with global supply chain operations, technical teams, and business leadership to run architecture workshops and design sessions, translating business goals into robust system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with the Digital Technology Group (DTG), PMO (iOPS), and external systems integrators to ensure all operational planning requirements are accurately supported and delivered.
  • Optimize Business Impact: Target KPIs centered on forecasting accuracy, process automation, and inventory optimization by designing high-performing Plan-to-Produce and Order-to-Fulfill workflows.
  • Architect Scalable Solutions: Design planning infrastructure that will explicitly support complex, future-state Configure-to-Order (CTO) business flows, ensuring tight integration across materials management, order promising, and global fulfillment.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Advanced SAP IBP Expertise: Deep technical mastery in implementing, optimizing, and integrating SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) modules, specifically across Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and S&OP/Control Tower environments.
  • Hardware Supply Chain Expertise: Thorough operational understanding of hardware supply chain mechanics, including materials management, inventory optimization, master data alignment, and the intricacies of Configure-to-Order (CTO) business models.
  • Systems Integration Architecture: Strong capability integrating SAP IBP with enterprise ERP systems (such as S/4HANA or ECC) to orchestrate complex order management and fulfillment processes.
  • Transformation & Project Leadership: Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead global, multidisciplinary teams through ambiguous, large-scale enterprise system transformations.

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
