Technical Project Manager IV

itD is seeking a Technical Project Manager IV to lead cross-functional project execution and roadmap delivery supporting Company's Marketing Technology organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in technical project management, Agile/Scrum delivery, stakeholder management, and roadmap execution, with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional technology initiatives in fast-paced environments.

 

Location: Remote (Preferred: Bay Area, CA)

Pay Rate: Depending on experience.

Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery for strategic marketing technology initiatives.
  • Drive roadmap operationalization by translating strategic objectives into actionable project plans and execution milestones.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, project reviews, and cross-functional program meetings.
  • Identify project risks, blockers, and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Decision Scientists, Business Analysts, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Maintain project plans, status reports, documentation, and communication materials to ensure transparency across teams.
  • Monitor project progress, manage changing priorities, and adjust execution plans to support evolving business needs.
  • Foster alignment across geographically distributed teams while ensuring consistent communication and execution.
  • Support the delivery of centralized reporting initiatives that improve marketing performance, brand sentiment, and business outcomes across Company's family of products.

Internal Responsibilities

  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, Program Management, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional technical projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Proven experience with roadmap planning, operationalization, and execution.
  • Strong experience managing project risks, blockers, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • 8–10 years of overall project or program management experience.
  • Experience supporting marketing technology, analytics, or data-driven product organizations.
  • Background working with Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Product Management, or Decision Science teams.
  • Previous experience working at Meta or another large-scale technology company.
  • Experience leading zero-to-one initiatives and highly ambiguous projects.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
