Shield AI is seeking a Technical Program Manager to run a highly organized, effective Finance Technology delivery function. As Scrum Master and owner of the team's Jira operating rhythm, you will turn priorities into achievable commitments and make capacity, dependencies, and decisions visible. You will use delivery insights to help leadership identify hotspots, anticipate burnout risk, and deploy the team's resources for maximum impact.
What you'll do:
- Own Jira management and maintain a clear, trusted view of priorities, ownership, progress, and dependencies.
- Serve as Scrum Master, facilitating planning, delivery reviews, retrospectives, and impediment removal.
- Establish disciplined intake, prioritization, and capacity planning across projects and operational work.
- Coordinate cross-functional programs spanning planning, data products, and Finance applications.
- Translate delivery trends and team feedback into recommendations on resource allocation, sequencing, and sustainable workload.
- Surface risks and tradeoffs early, presenting leadership with actionable options.
- Improve delivery practices, release readiness, and handoffs without unnecessary bureaucracy.
Required qualifications:
- Experience leading cross-functional technical programs involving data, enterprise systems, or business applications.
- Hands-on Jira management and experience serving as a Scrum Master.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail, with clear executive and team communication.
- Ability to manage dependencies and influence decisions across teams without direct authority.
- Experience using operational insights to improve capacity planning, delivery effectiveness, and team health.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Finance technology, planning platforms, or data engineering teams.
- Experience coordinating implementation partners and shared enterprise dependencies.
- Experience building scalable operating practices in a lean, high-growth organization.
