We are seeking a Product Manager with substantial experience and outstanding intuition to drive the formulation and execution of the API & Integrations roadmap across our suite of portfolio monitoring, data analytics, and reporting solutions for institutional investors in the private capital markets.

This position will report to our Head of Product, but partner with stakeholders across the organization to define our product development strategy for API & Integration-related functionality. You will engage with clients and prospects to understand their needs, identify creative technology solutions, own prioritization, and partner with the Engineering team to ensure the delivery of high-quality enhancements on time, in accordance with our roadmap.

Even if you do not meet every criteria, we would still encourage you to apply! Chronograph offers an entrepreneurial environment where you will be able to proactively identify opportunities to develop and strengthen our Product and Engineering functions.

As the Product Manager, API & Integrations at Chronograph, you will:

  • Drive key prioritization decisions and take ownership of the product vision as it relates to third-party integrations, our client-facing API, and connectivity-related enhancements across our product suite
  • Align our API & Integrations strategy with our segment-specific product roadmaps and Chronograph’s broader strategic objectives
  • Develop a deep understanding of client use cases to identify creative, thoughtful solutions
  • Define, articulate, and manage business and technical requirements of new features
  • Work closely with a best-in-class Engineering team to deliver high-quality product features in a timely and efficient manner
  • Become an expert in our API & Integrations functionality, with total knowledge of the ‘what, why, and how’
  • Use your expertise to articulate our product vision and support adoption of new features as they are deployed

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Four (4) or more years of professional product management or related technology experience, with a focus in third-party integrations, data connectivity, and/or enterprise API management
  • Strong technical background in the API space, with related coding experience as a plus
  • Previous experience in software development is strongly preferred.
  • Must be based in Central or Eastern time zones for optimal team collaboration
  • Nice-to-have: experience with financial data sets
  • Experience crafting business requirements, scoping documents, and technical specifications
  • Great communication skills and an ability to tailor your messaging to engage various stakeholders
  • An ability to effectively engage with clients and professionals to distill stakeholder needs and incorporate end-user feedback
  • An ability to efficiently prioritize, triage, and synthesize multiple perspectives
  • An understanding of what it takes to ship high-quality enterprise SaaS products and features at scale
  • Positive attitude, sense of humor, and creativity

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
