About the team

OpenAI’s mission is to build safe artificial general intelligence (AGI) which benefits all of humanity. This long-term undertaking brings the world’s best scientists, engineers, and business professionals together to accomplish this.

In pursuit of this mission, our Enterprise Platform Technology team is responsible for enabling scalable go-to-market operations that help customers successfully adopt OpenAI’s products. The team partners across Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Finance, Support, Data, and Engineering to design intelligent systems and workflows that support customer acquisition, lifecycle activation, and operational scale across the GTM ecosystem.

About the role

OpenAI’s top-of-funnel GTM landscape is evolving into a signal-driven, data-orchestrated acquisition engine powered by AI-native workflows, enriched customer intelligence, and increasingly interconnected GTM systems. We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to help drive the strategy, alignment, prioritization, and execution of these systems across Salesforce and adjacent GTM platforms.

This role will partner closely with GTM Systems Engineering, Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing, Data, and Enterprise Platform teams to operationalize scalable workflows supporting lead capture, enrichment, routing, activation, prospecting, and pipeline generation. The ideal candidate combines strong technical fluency, operational systems thinking, and stakeholder leadership with the ability to drive execution across highly cross-functional environments.

In this role, you'll:
  • Own and drive top-of-funnel GTM systems initiatives across Lead-to-Opportunity (LtO), enrichment orchestration, prospecting workflows, lifecycle activation, routing, and sales engagement operations

  • Partner with stakeholders and engineering teams to identify operational pain points, define scalable solutions, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and execute across Salesforce and adjacent GTM platforms

  • Align cross-functional stakeholders across GTM, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Finance, Security, Legal, Data, and Enterprise Platform teams while driving execution cadence, prioritization, and delivery visibility

  • Help operationalize AI-native GTM workflows by defining scalable automation, orchestration, agentic workflows, and human-in-the-loop processes across the customer acquisition lifecycle

You might thrive in this role if you have:
  • Strong understanding of Lead-to-Opportunity (LtO) workflows, GTM systems, and data enrichment ecosystems supporting modern sales organizations

  • Experience working across Salesforce, Marketing Automation platforms, enrichment providers, Sales Engagement tooling, routing engines, and adjacent GTM systems

  • Familiarity with attribution flows, MQL/SQL lifecycle management, deduplication, territory assignment, lead routing, sequencing orchestration, and data normalization at scale

  • Proven ability to drive complex cross-functional initiatives from discovery and stakeholder alignment through execution and operationalization

  • Strong technical fluency across APIs, integrations, event-driven architectures, enterprise SaaS ecosystems, and Salesforce platform capabilities

  • Experience partnering closely with Engineering, Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Security, and Enterprise Platform teams

  • Experience operating within SOX/SOC2-controlled environments with strong understanding of SDLC, QA, release management, and operational governance

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate priorities, tradeoffs, risks, and execution plans

Nice to Have
  • Ability to independently reason through technical system design, integration dependencies, and operational tradeoffs alongside engineering teams

  • Familiarity with Salesforce platform architecture, automation patterns, APIs, and event-driven workflows

  • Experience working within AI-native, high-growth, or highly ambiguous operating environments

  • Exposure to global go-to-market operations, territory models, and regional business processes

  • Ability to operate scrappily and iteratively while maintaining a strong bias toward scalability, governance, and long-term maintainability

Compensation Range: $216K - $240K USD

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
