Roles and Responsibilities
- Strategic Talent Architect: Lead the Gas Power Engineering (GPE) talent strategy. Design and scale technical experience development programs (including "Cultivate") that build systems thinking, technical rigor, and business acumen.
- Execution Leadership: Manage the TLO team, including Technical Learning Delivery and Designers, Program Managers and AI Integration Specialists, to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality learning, onboarding, and technical training. Collaborate with senior engineering leadership to identify succession gaps and ensure TLO initiatives directly support business-critical priorities.
- AI-First Transformation: Drive the migration from "AI as a Hobby" to "AI as Standard Work." Embed AI fluency and "Amp" workflows into the core of all engineering pipelines and standard operating procedures.
- Cross-Functional Partner: Collaborate with executive engineering leadership to identify critical technical succession gaps and align TLO efforts with business-critical needs. Ensure TLO has a direct line of sight to the Engineer 2030 pillars.
- Operational Excellence: Own the metrics-driven approach to learning, including ROI tracking, Training Effectiveness scores, and the TDA.
- Innovation Champion: Lead the culture of Systems Thinking and innovation, ensuring that every engineer moves toward a balanced technical depth and breadth model.
- Executive Communication: Translate complex technical learning data into impactful presentations for senior leadership, highlighting progress on the TLO 2030 Roadmap and the impact of AI-augmented engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or related) OR significant experience in strategic learning development with engineering groups.
- 12+ years of experience in Engineering, Operations, or Learning & Development, with at least 6 years in a leadership or technical learning strategy role.

- Strong leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and energize high-performing teams; build trust across functions; and create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Deep technical credibility with experience spanning customer support, root cause analysis, combustion engineering, fleet reliability, and cross-functional technical problem solving.
- Demonstrated executive communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical and organizational topics into clear direction for senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision and day-to-day execution, ensuring programs are not only designed well but also delivered with discipline, quality, and measurable impact.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $131,700.00 and $219,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
