RH is seeking a Technical Designer who will pioneer the development of our design business at RH Interior Design. This is a historic opportunity to join the disruptive evolution of RH in our second standalone brick-and-mortar interior design firm. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a luxury experience for RH clientele through every facet of RH Interior Design
- Masterfully integrate and implement the RH Design Ethos across all residential interior design projects
- Create brand-elevating interior design presentations; communicate design concepts, space planning decisions and product selections
- Provide support with all phases of the design process, including consultations, site visits, design development, presentations and delivery
- Produce editorial design presentations including advanced architectural AutoCad schematics and elevations
- Deliver specialized product knowledge and exceptional customer support
- Maintain a high level of engagement with and knowledge of the local luxury market
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of interior design experience, including architectural design and collaboration with architects, interior designers and on-site trades
- First-hand experience in drafting custom millwork, custom kitchens and bathrooms
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Google SketchUp and other related space planning/rendering programs preferred
- Proficiency with Mac operating systems, iOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google applications
- NCIDQ certification and a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- Must possess a valid passport for international travel and a valid driver’s license for daily vehicle operation
- Local, domestic and international travel up to 50%
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques
- Weekly domestic travel, both locally and out of state
