Summary of Position:

Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production. Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to meet overall project objective. Produce shop drawings and illustrative diagrams as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the project management team to convert project briefs into designs
  • Modify existing client designs to be practical and functional
  • Create build drawings
  • Create CNC Files
  • Work with third party engineering firms to obtain engineering wet stamps
  • Work with building and safety to obtain necessary permits
  • Perform site surveys
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, schedules and other construction documents

Qualifications:

  • Software: proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino. Adobe Creative Suite Illustrator & Sketch Up is a plus
  • Time Management: You will be collaborating working with project managers, builders & vendors, often on multiple projects
  • Analytical Skills: You will also need analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical work day; You will be analyzing data and making decisions that affect the project on a regular basis
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Possesses detailed knowledge of material tolerances & build/assembly approach
  • Works well with a team
  • Possesses solid analytical and problem solving abilities

Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time

Location: This is an in-person role based in Los Angeles. Candidates must be available to work on-site, with occasional weekend hours required depending on business needs and event schedules.

Salary Estimation: [$85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year]

Treehouse intends to provide a competitive total compensation package which includes a variety of incentives, benefits, growth and developmental opportunities. There are many factors to the presented hourly range, including but not limited to - location, departmental budgets, certifications, and overall job-related qualifications.
