About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Director to spearhead establishing our new data science team and the development of innovative predictive analytics features. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dynamic cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, and security experts to create a groundbreaking addition to our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Development: Oversee the end-to-end creation of an AI-powered anomaly detection system that enhances our product offerings and addresses security challenges.
  • Team Management: Mentor and manage a diverse team of 12-15 specialists, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, and security professionals.
  • Architectural Direction: Define and implement a robust technical architecture and strategy that supports project goals and aligns with industry best practices.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership to ensure the alignment of feature development with the overall company vision and strategic objectives.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure the timely delivery of project milestones while adhering to budget constraints and quality standards.
  • Promote Innovation: Drive advancements in behavioral analytics and security AI, fostering a culture of creativity and forward-thinking within the team.
Requirements
  • Extensive Experience: 10+ years of experience in technical leadership roles, particularly in AI and machine learning.
  • Proven Success: Demonstrated success in delivering AI/ML products, preferably within the security or related sectors.
  • Team Leadership: Experience managing cross-functional teams throughout complex product development cycles.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, anomaly detection methodologies, and security analytics frameworks.
  • Effective Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.
  • Educational Background: An advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is preferred.
  • Advanced English level (we're a global company so this is very important!)
