Leaving the classroom? Your next job could still be helping schools.

Swiftscore makes tools that help principals spend less time on paperwork and more time coaching their teachers. We're hiring Tech Consultants to bring Swiftscore to schools and districts and help them use it well. It's a $120,000 OTE, full-time role with benefits, and you don't need any sales experience to get there.

You'll get there through a paid training program run with our partner, Fuel Sales Academy. You're paid while you learn. You move up each time you hit a target, and when you pass the final one, Swiftscore hires you.

Why educators do well here

You already know how schools work. You know what a principal's day looks like, what makes teachers buy into something, and how to explain a hard idea to a skeptical room. We'll teach you the rest.

How the program works

- Stage 0: Sales Foundations (about 1 month). Learn prospecting, cold calling and objection handling through live roleplay and coaching.

- Stage 1: SDR Experience (about 5 weeks). Call schools and book meetings with principals. To move on, book 3 meetings a week for 4 weeks in a row.

- Stage 2: Demo Foundations (about 3 weeks). Learn the Swiftscore demo and shadow live calls. To move on, run a live demo for our Head of Partnerships and handle his objections.

- Stage 3: Tech Consultant in Training (about 4 months). Run your own deals from first call to rollout, with coaching behind you. To move on, close 10 deals and get 5 referrals.

- The job: Tech Consultant at Swiftscore. You own a region, earn $120K OTE and work full-time with benefits.

You advance as soon as you hit each target. We care about results, not resume.

What a Tech Consultant does

- Owns a region of schools and districts

- Runs discovery calls and demos with principals and district leaders

- Closes new schools and leads their rollout

- Checks in with schools through the year so each one gets real value

- Grows their own pipeline from customer referrals

What we look for

- Urgency: you want to earn, and soon.

- Consistency: you hit your number every week, even on the days you don't feel like it.

- Coachability: you take feedback and use it on the next call.

- Composure: you stay steady when someone pushes back.

- Location: you live in the U.S. The role is fully remote.

Teaching experience is a big plus but not required. If you already have sally move through the stages faster.

Who you'll learn from

- John Gamba, Entrepreneur in Residence at Catalyst @ Penn GSE, who has spent 30 years building education companies

- Cindy Barris, a district leader who started as a special education teache

- Kurtis Hawkins, Senior Account Executive at Abre, formerly at Nearpod and Blackboard

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
