The Opportunity
As a Tax Innovation & Delivery Experience - Project Management - Manager, you will oversee and coordinate various projects to facilitate successful delivery within budget and timeline. Within our Tax practice, you will leverage strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders. As a Manager, you will motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same.
In this role at PwC, you will analyze and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system. You will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. By partnering with team leadership, you will confirm collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same.
Responsibilities
- Leading project management initiatives to optimize project portfolios and drive strategic business outcomes
- Overseeing project selection, prioritization, and resource allocation to facilitate successful delivery within budget and timeline
- Coordinating various projects and managing teams to achieve client service expectations
- Utilizing Agile Methodology and Kanban for effective project management and delivery
- Developing and implementing project governance frameworks to enhance project integration and risk management
- Engaging in stakeholder management to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members
- Analyzing and identifying linkages between project components to improve overall system interactions
- Taking ownership of projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
- Mentoring team members to develop their skills and encourage growth outside their comfort zones
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in difficult conversations with stakeholders to resolve issues and escalate when necessary
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
- Utilizing Agile Methodology for efficient project management
- Excelling in Project Portfolio Management (PPM) strategies
- Demonstrating proficiency in Project Management Software (PMS)
- Implementing effective Project Risk identification techniques
- Leading Project Management Office (PMO) development initiatives
- Embracing change through innovative project delivery methods
- Enhancing stakeholder engagement and management skills
The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $266,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
