AGE Solutions is seeking an experienced Task Order Project Manager (TOPM) to lead a large-scale network engineering support program for a DoD agency. The selected candidate will serve as a single management point of contact between the government customer, the contract team, and AGE Solutions' senior leadership team. The selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of TO performance to including staffing, employee mentorship, customer satisfaction, completion of all TO activities, quality management, submission of deliverables, subcontractor management, and financial performance.
Responsibilities Include:
- Serve as the Project Manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives.
- Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with infrastructure engineering teams to survey buildings and communication closets, review technical drawings, validate cable plans and coordinate cable and/or power infrastructure specifics as it relates to the installation of LAN related equipment and hardware.
- Provide the leadership, management, direction, administration, clerical support, documentation, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the planning and execution of tasks across several operational teams, to include enterprise technology refresh, Tier 3 firewall support, Tier 3 LAN engineering, warehouse management, and operational technology (OT).
- Provide guidance and oversight for technical team leads.
- Establish and maintain lines of communication and communication cadences within the contract team and with other stakeholders.
- Schedule and attend weekly customer engagements.
- Ensure the quality of technical plans, diagrams, and deliverables.
- Work with the contract team to develop and maintain project schedules, delivering schedule updates in a format acceptable to the customer.
- Review and approve invoices, ensuring that only approved/billable expenses are incurred and that they are invoiced appropriately.
- Single point of contact for interfacing with government management personnel, developing/enforcing work standards, and communicating government policies, purposes, and goals to the team.
- Manage project schedules and resources to ensure deliverables meet government schedules.
- Communicate daily with the AGE Program Manager, team members, and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain an integrated master project schedule.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports to include status reports, 8570/8140 compliance, staffing plans, CAC reports, design drawings / redlines, trip reports, travel requests, etc.
- Develop and present In-Process Review (IPR) slides, ad hoc slides for management, and attend required meetings.
- Provide human resources support to include personnel actions (staffing, disciplinary, etc.), mentorship, training, resolve issues/concerns, create personnel schedules, review work discrepancies, subcontractor evaluations, recognition of excellent performance, and complete quarterly/annual evaluations.
- Review, evaluate, and recommend improvements to operations to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and/or Technical Point of Contact (TPOC)
- Review and approve technical solutions and provide staff recommendations for improvement.
- Review subcontracts, modifications, and other contractual documentation providing assessments and recommendations to management.
- Lead hiring activities to include creation of job requisitions, review of resumes, conduct interviews, and complete onboarding activities.
- Develop and update the Task Order Management Plan (TOMP).
- Provide AGE leadership with weekly and monthly status updates on program performance.
- Develop and submit management plans, reports, dashboards, and metrics.
- Establish and maintain a Communications Plan, communicating consistently with stakeholders on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Proactively identify and address risks/issues and communicate those issues to AGE management and/or government management as appropriate.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Education:
- BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant project management experience in the network management field.
- Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
- Citizenship and Clearance:
- US Citizenship is required
- Must possess IT-II security clearance (DoD Secret) or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).
Preferred Qualifications:
- DoD/DLA Experience
- DoD 8570 IAM/IAT Level III Certification (Ex: CISSP)
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification (Highly Preferred)
- Cisco Network Engineering Certification such as CCNA or CCNP
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
- This position is primarily remote and requires occasional travel for client and/or company meetings or events.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Must be able to work in a variety of environments to include office, remote, warehouse, and telecommunications closets as needed.
The projected salary range for this position is $100,000+ annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including years of relevant experience, active security clearance level, certifications, technical skillset, contract requirements, and overall qualifications.
