About Us

Ludia Consulting is one of the fastest growing and innovative consulting firms in Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Supply Chain, Customer Engagement and PowerPlatform. We are looking for a team member that is committed to helping others and their communities while also growing professionally as part of our Ludia family.

We are not just a traditional organization; we are driven to help our partners and clients while delivering value every day. Our team members are also encouraged to grow by sharing their knowledge and experience through a multitude of community driven channels including local non-profit organizations.

About the role

As a Talent Sourcing Specialist at Ludia Consulting, you'll play an essential role in driving our people's growth by finding and engaging hard-to-reach technical and functional talent across the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem. We'll provide the tools and resources; you'll bring a passion for identifying top talent across our product lines and services.

You'll build strong relationships with key individuals across the Microsoft channel and partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to develop pipelines for current and future openings in Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain, Field Service, Customer Engagement/CRM, and Power Platform.

This role suits someone who enjoys the hunt: digging past job boards, building relationships with passive candidates, and becoming the go-to expert on who's who in the Dynamics community.

This is a part-time contract position with the opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance.

What you'll do

  • Source candidates for all open positions, with the goal of presenting 3 qualified candidates to interview and choose from for each role.
  • Proactively source passive and active candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, Microsoft community forums, user groups, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for Microsoft Dynamics 365 roles, including Field Service, Finance & Supply Chain, Customer Engagement/CRM, and related Power Platform, Azure, and Microsoft enterprise application skill sets.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers in intake meetings to understand role requirements, client group needs, and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Write personalized, high-converting outreach messages and multi-step campaigns that engage candidates and drive response rates.
  • Pre-screen candidates through initial calls to assess technical fit, motivation, compensation expectations, and availability, and to confirm they fully meet the requirements of posted requisitions.
  • Map the market and competitor landscape, including Microsoft partners and end-user organizations, to identify target talent pools.
  • Research the latest sourcing trends and recommend how to integrate them into daily practice.
  • Keep candidate records and activities accurate and up to date in Greenhouse, and track pipeline metrics such as response rate, pass-through rate, and sourced hires.
  • Automate sourcing metric reporting to management
  • Share market insights on talent availability, compensation trends, and certifications with the hiring team.
  • Work closely with Ludia Consulting's executive team to ensure a positive candidate experience.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or a combination of both, in an agency or in-house setting.
  • A proven track record of sourcing for technical or specialized roles.
  • Advanced Boolean search skills, confidence using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools, and thorough knowledge of web-based sourcing strategies.
  • Experience using a mix of creative sourcing techniques that attract high-quality, passive candidates.
  • Experience building sourcing strategies with recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Experience working in an ATS or recruiting CRM (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday).
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, especially for crafting compelling outreach.
  • A self-starter who can manage multiple open roles at once, prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • A data-driven approach to measuring and improving sourcing results.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Nice to have

  • Experience sourcing or recruiting Microsoft Dynamics 365 talent, strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with the Greenhouse applicant tracking system.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 modules and products (Finance, Supply Chain Management, Field Service, and Customer Service) and legacy versions (AX, NAV, GP, CRM).
  • Understanding of common Dynamics roles, such as functional consultants, technical developers (X++, AL, C#), solution architects, and project managers.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft certifications and how they map to candidate skill levels.
  • An existing network in the Microsoft partner community or Dynamics user groups.
  • Experience recruiting for consulting or implementation partner environments.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
