Job Description

Who We Are:

Talent Business Ventures supports prolific and entrepreneurial clients in their brand and business-building endeavors, working to develop their overall brand strategy, and build scalable, talent-led businesses. 

The Role:

The Assistant will support an executive in our Talent Business Ventures department. A general interest in brands, innovation, and deal making is helpful. The assistant supports the executive and team with a range of administrative tasks, and works closely with external brands, internal colleagues, senior CAA leadership, and talent across CAA’s roster. 

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative duties include heavy phones & heavy scheduling, coordinating meetings and schedules in multiple time zones, planning travel, preparing expense reports, and producing correspondence
  • Creating and maintaining pitch decks and providing market research when needed
  • Researching opportunities related to CAA clients and up and coming consumer and technology trends
  • Assisting in identifying new business opportunities for our clients
  • Working collaboratively and cross-departmentally over all verticals of the agency
  • Maintaining a high level of organization for the Department Head and their desk, day, and professional duties. 
  • Maximize the efficiency and thoroughness of the department’s efforts. 

Qualifications:

  • 10 months + of professional working experience in an administrative or project management capacity
  • BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred
  • A passion for pop culture, entertainment and brands
  • Self- starter and interested in exploring new business opportunities
  • Highly flexible, highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and pay close attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong use of PowerPoint required
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Team oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

On-Site in Los Angeles, CA, United States 

Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $20.00-22.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
