ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the PEAK6 People team. You will play a key role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across a variety of roles. Our team manages full cycle recruitment and strategically partners with hiring leaders and HR to understand our business needs and goals. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our team's success by delivering high-quality hires and ensuring a positive candidate experience across diverse functional areas. We are looking for someone who is a problem solver, a believer of a seamless recruitment experience, and values continuous improvement in processes. You should be adaptable, proactive, and committed to fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace environment.
This role can be based in our Austin or Chicago office and operates in a hybrid environment, requiring three days in the office.
What you'll do:
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment across all departments including tech, finance, and operations
  • Build strong relationships with candidates and work to continually improve our candidate experience
  • Negotiate offers with the ability to close candidates
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to optimize processes
  • Demonstrate strong, proactive communication skills with candidates, hiring managers, and team members to ensure clear understanding and alignment throughout the recruitment process.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the PEAK6 culture and value proposition
  • Develop your knowledge base on the PEAK6 businesses, culture and market, and stay up to date on the recruiting industry's best practices and latest trends
  • Ensure the data integrity of our ATS
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team, HR and other partners on process improvements, events, DEI, employer branding and various other HR initiatives

YOUR EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years of full cycle recruiting experience
  • Detail-oriented and a problem solver: whether you're working on a tough to fill role, negotiating comp, keeping up on your candidate responses, or updating the ATS (Workday is a plus!)
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and acquiring top talent, ensuring timely and efficient hiring processes.
  • A team player and collaborator; someone willing to lend a helping hand and not afraid to ask for help when needed
  • A natural ability to build trust and rapport with candidates and hiring managers from every background

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location. This position also may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to a range of health & wellness benefits, enhancing your overall compensation package.
Base Salary Range
$72,800-$91,000
