About the Job:

The People Team Talent Acquisition Intern will play a key role in supporting the 2026 Summer Intern Program, assisting with recruiting, onboarding, administrative support and program planning activities responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruiting and talent programs while contributing to an engaging and impactful Summer Intern experience. This is a 6-month full time Intern opportunity.

 

A day in the life, what you’ll be doing:

Recruiting Support:

  • Review and manage resumes in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Conduct initial candidate phone screens and assess fit for internship opportunities
  • Schedule interviews with student candidates and coordinate communications with interviewers and hiring partners
  • Support with onboarding intern candidates prior to the start of the program
  • Maintain consistent communication with students before and during the Summer Intern Program to ensure a positive experience

Intern Program Planning & Execution:

  • Partner with People Team members to plan and coordinate engaging events and activities for the Summer Intern Program, such as learning sessions, social media opportunities, executive lunches, and store visits
  • Assist in organizing program logistics and supporting the delivery of Intern engagement initiatives
  • Help maintain accurate tracking of program participation and feedback

Learning & Development:

  • Gain exposure to full-cycle talent acquisition processes and best practices
  • Learn project coordination, candidate communication, and event planning in a corporate talent environment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR colleagues and business leaders
  • Hands-on experience in recruiting and HR operations
  • Insight into internship program management and event planning
  • Opportunities to develop professional networking and communication skills
  • Exposure to corporate HR practices and collaboration with senior leaders

 

What it takes to Join:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Seniors to 2-years post grad is preferred
  • Able to work full time hours, in office
  • Strong presentation skills and leadership presence
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Salary Range: $22.00/hour

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
  • Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
  • Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
  • Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel may be required.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
