Work in the SSD Analytics and Telemetry group and utilize advanced programing techniques, data center architecture, Linux, SSD's, and cloud services. Code, build, and drive new data center and validation automation, processes, and architecture. Work with the wider SSD engineering teams (FW, FTE, Validation, etc.) and guide them in best practices. Ensure that the testing and validation data flows efficiently into cloud databases, that multiple teams can extract data, and are taking full advantage of the large and varied data. Position requires domestic and international travel 10% of the time.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires:
1. Programming language including Python;
2. Database Management, including PostgreSQL database;
3. Frontend programming language, including React;
4. Cloud technologies, including AWS;
5. Linux and shell scripting;
6. Control version and CI/CD pipeline tools, including Git and Jenkins;
7. Evaluating and conducting performance improvement in the system;
8. Designing user interfaces and tools;
9. Performing software verification and validation for robust solution.
