Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer cloud resources, operating systems, applications, and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Manage Kubernetes provisioning, scaling, and container orchestration across multiple environments.
  • Develop Helm charts and YAML files to streamline deployments and automate monitoring, upgrades, and security patches.
  • Create scripts to manage Kubernetes operations and optimize resource utilization and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot Kubernetes-related issues, including networking, storage, and container lifecycle management.
  • Maintain technical documentation and contribute to Kubernetes design and automation in a Scrum team setting.

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 or more years of experience in cloud technologies

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters, deploying microservices, and handling container orchestration in a production environment
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, service mesh, and persistent storage management
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively to clarify requirements, troubleshoot Kubernetes issues, and identify innovative solutions
  • Ability to assist in documenting requirements and resolving conflicts or ambiguities related to Kubernetes environments
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,400.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
