SVP, US Healthcare SalesWhy We Have This Role

The US Healthcare market represents one of the most critical and highest-growth verticals for Qualtrics. Healthcare providers, health plans, and life sciences organizations face an urgent imperative to transform patient experiences, clinician well-being, and operational engagement. Reporting directly into the Chief Sales Officer, the SVP, US Healthcare Sales will lead the strategy and execution to scale our footprint, expand enterprise relationships, and drive substantial net-new growth in this complex, highly regulated market.

This executive will lead a high-performing organization of dedicated sales leaders and enterprise account executives, while serving as the primary go-to-market catalyst across cross-functional partners in solution engineering, marketing, client success, and product.

As the SVP, Healthcare, you will define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the vertical. Success in this role will be defined by excellence across the following areas:

  • Strategic Vertical Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive US Healthcare GTM strategy aligned with global objectives. Identify high-value health system networks, payors, and life science accounts to drive sustained market penetration and long-term revenue growth.
  • Revenue Growth & Market Expansion: Own and exceed aggressive annual revenue targets (net new ACV, upsells, and renewals). Drive market entry and expansion strategies across complex health systems, ensuring rapid adoption and deep integration of the Qualtrics Experience Management (XM) platform.
  • Complex Multi-Buyer Execution: Lead a multi-product GTM motion that navigates complex healthcare buying centers (Chief Medical Officers, Chief Patient Experience Officers, Chief Digital/Information Officers, and HR leadership), establishing Qualtrics as a mission-critical strategic partner.
  • Ecosystem & Partner Strategy: Build and scale a robust healthcare partner ecosystem. Drive joint GTM initiatives with strategic integrators, healthcare consultancies, and technology alliances to accelerate pipeline velocity and scale market reach.
  • Team Development & Leadership: Leading an org of 150+, you will recruit, mentor, and retain world-class enterprise sales talent. Build an accountable, high-performance culture focused on continuous development, quota attainment, and alignment with Qualtrics' commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Operational Excellence & Rigor: Partner with Sales Operations to implement data-driven forecasting, pipeline accountability, and rigorous sales cadence. Leverage operational analytics to optimize deal flow, sales cycles, and resource allocation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Management and Industry Solutions to feed frontline healthcare market needs back into the product roadmap. Collaborate with Marketing, Client Success, and Professional Services to ensure seamless deal execution and long-term customer retention.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
