Organization:

SC - Sansum Clinic

Position Overview:

Handles stocking and storing of medical supplies, primarily in the supply chain storeroom. Activities include, but not limited to, receiving, inventory management, supply and equipment requisitions, product conversions, invoice resolution, back order resolution, de-casing and stocking supplies. Works independently and in conjunction with clinical staff, providing expertise and assistance for all clinical and non-clinical equipment and supplies. Works closely with Supply Chain team, department technicians and clinicians to advance supply chain goals and objectives. Schedules time for periodic cycle counts and annual inventory tasks.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
INVENTORY CONTROL
• Maintains basic storeroom inventory.
• Rotates stock, manages expiration dates, de-cases supplies, stocks shelves and arranges for product returns when necessary.
• Checks packing slips ensuring accurate deliveries. Notifies buyer/vendor of any discrepancies.
• Ensures neat and orderly storage and control of inventory at all times.
• Handles the disposition of equipment and supply recall notices.
• Leverages technology for storeroom logistics functions.
• Guides cycle counts and year-end inventories.
• Follows established protocol for accurate inventory management
• Establishes and maintains department standard of inventory, based on past utilization, case load, census and budgetary constraints.
SAFETY
• Maintains a clean, neat, and safe working environment.
• Participates in quality/safety activities, as required.
EDUCATION
HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
1-year recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Routine work requiring problem-solving capability and paying close attention to detail.
Must possess aptitude in math and computer operation. Including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must have the skills to produce accurate work results within established timeframes.
Must have the ability to work independently with minimal guidance and direction.
Must abide by the department's policy on Conflict of Interest.

Pay Range is $29.37 to $36.71 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
