The Authorization Coordinator I processes patient referral requests and maintains the required turnaround times, while assisting with status inquiries and improving workflows.

Provide nursing support for cardiology clinical studies and patient care: perform study-related clinical tasks under Medical Director supervision, communicate with patients and providers, maintain documentation in EHR, follow regulations and hospital policies, protect PHI, and collaborate with care teams to ensure quality patient experience.

Supports clinical and operational leadership by monitoring and evaluating outcomes, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement. Maintain storeroom inventory and logistics: receive, de-case, stock, rotate, and track expirations; resolve invoices and backorders; perform cycle counts and annual inventories; support clinicians and supply chain team; ensure clean, safe storage and accurate inventory control using basic computer tools.
