This role is a strong fit for someone who likes practical problem solving, cross-functional work, and the chance to build scalable processes in a high-accountability environment.

  • Solicit, compare, and evaluate supplier quotations and proposals.
  • Source new suppliers and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms with suppliers.
  • Expedite critical orders and resolve supplier delivery issues.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation within Rangeview’s systems.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support vendor relationship management.

Supplier Management

  • Support supplier onboarding and qualification activities.
  • Maintain supplier records, documentation, and related supply chain information.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, quality concerns, and open issues.

Inventory and Material Management

  • Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and physical inventory.
  • Support material replenishment efforts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Coordinate the movement of materials between departments and work centers.
  • Help maintain organized, accurate, and accessible inventory storage locations.

Receiving, Shipping, and Logistics

  • Support receiving activities, including verifying shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Assist with stocking and organizing incoming materials.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments and freight scheduling.
  • Support packaging, labeling, and shipment preparation when required.
  • Track inbound and outbound shipments and resolve logistics issues.

Operational Support

  • Support production schedules by helping ensure timely material availability.
  • Assist with implementation and continuous improvement of supply chain processes.
  • Participate in special projects and other operational support activities as needed.
  • Occasionally travel locally to suppliers, service providers, or customers to pick up or deliver materials, parts, or documentation.
  • Support additional duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

  • Must be able to meet ITAR/U.S. export control requirements, including being a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise eligible for required authorization.
  • Must be able to work full-time, W2, onsite in El Segundo, CA.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or supply chain.
  • Strong technology aptitude, including proficiency with Google Workspace and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms and business systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience purchasing direct materials, MRO items, tooling, and/or capital equipment.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and supplier management practices.
  • Experience with ERP and/or WMS systems.

Additional requirements

  • Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
