Role Summary: The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize all supply chain functions for Memebox North America, including demand and supply planning, inventory management, logistics, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and customer service. This role will manage an awesome team and partner closely with our Korean headquarters for all supply-related information. This leadership role is critical in driving operational excellence and supporting Memebox's growth and success.


 

Key Responsibilities:


 

  1. Demand Planning:
    • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data and market trends.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align on demand planning and sales projections.
  2. Supply Planning:
    • Ensure supply meets demand through effective planning and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Manage supplier relationships to secure reliable sourcing and timely delivery.
  3. Inventory Management:
    • Partner with our Korean SCM team to monitor and control inventory levels to avoid overstocking or out of stocks.
    • Implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and reduce holding costs.
    • Lead daily inventory updates and reviews, including:
      1. Downloading inventory reports from WMS.
      2. Pivoting inventory by channel and calculating availability.
      3. Uploading finalized inventory reports to shared drives.
  4. Marketing Order Management:
    • Oversee execution of marketing-related shipments (e.g., PR mailers, event send-outs).
    • Ensure S2 (3PL partner) executes marketing orders accurately and timely.
    • Review shipment urgency and assign appropriate shipping methods.
    • Validate shipping addresses and follow up on discrepancies.
    • Track and update shipment status and tracking numbers for all orders.
  5. Logistics (Transportation and Distribution):
    • Oversee transportation and distribution operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
    • Identify and resolve logistics issues to maintain service levels.
  6. Warehouse Management:
    • Supervise warehouse operations, including storage, inventory tracking, and compliance with safety standards.
    • Drive initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  7. Order Fulfillment:
    • Lead order processing and fulfillment activities to meet customer expectations.
    • Establish KPIs to measure and improve order accuracy and delivery performance.
  8. Customer Service:
    • Manage customer inquiries and issues related to supply chain operations.
    • Foster strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  9. Supply Chain Analytics:
    • Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
    • Prepare and present reports to senior management on supply chain performance.


 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management
  • Proven expertise in demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the beauty, cosmetics, or consumer goods industry is a plus.
