This role requires associates to work out of a MVH North America hub location – Vancouver, WA | Santa Monica, CA | Tampa, FL

Why This Role Matters

The Supervisor, Accounts Receivable provides leadership, governance and operational ownership within the North America Accounts Receivable team in a centralized, shared services operating model, supporting Banfield, BluePearl and VCA. The role is accountable for team performance, balance integrity, issue resolution and service outcomes across the AR portfolio, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant execution of AR activities across a highly complex, multi-site network of veterinary hospitals.

This position leads a team of Accounts Receivable Analysts across both core AR and associate receivables (collections), focusing on people leadership, performance management, escalation resolution and control governance rather than transactional processing, which is executed by shared services and hospital teams. Success in this role is measured by achievement of service level targets across the team, sustained improvement in balance accuracy and aging, timely resolution of complex and escalated issues, reduction of recurring variances and outstanding balances through effective root-cause analysis, and measurable improvement in process consistency, compliance and overall financial integrity across AR operations.

You Will

  • Lead and develop a team of Accounts Receivable Analysts across core AR and collections activities by setting clear expectations, providing coaching and feedback, supporting development planning and addressing performance or prioritization challenges
  • Own team performance and service outcomes, ensuring alignment to service level targets, balance accuracy, aging performance and compliance requirements
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex, non-routine, policy-driven and higher-risk AR and collections issues, exercising judgment and decision-making authority within established policies and governance frameworks, including determining resolution strategies and escalation pathways

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
