Job Summary:

AEG Internship Program offers a real-world experience that allows college students to learn the business of sports and live entertainment. The Marketing Intern will provide direct support to the Marketing and Digital team. This role is best suited for an individual interested in a career in sports marketing where they will learn the foundational knowledge, skills, networking, and support necessary to pursue a full-time entry-level position.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain marketing asset library/archive 
  • Support digital marketing team and social media teams with content conceptualization, creation, and curation
  • Engage and brainstorm with the marketing team on game day planning for the 24-25 season (giveaway items, theme nights, fan activations, merchandise partnerships, etc).
  • Attend promotional events as a representative of the marketing team to engage and interact with fans
  • Market research on digital marketing campaigns, event engagement activities, ticketing strategy, sponsor activations, etc.
  • Support marketing team with research and competitor audits to identify potential new/different content and marketing initiatives
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • The AEG Internship Program requires a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week during the summer. 

Qualifications:

  • Passion for sports and live entertainment
  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Familiarity with project management tools (AirTable, Monday.com) preferred
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube)
  • Desire to learn more about the sports and entertainment industry

Pay Scale: $19.00 - $21.00
