About third

Third is a modern-commerce growth company helping brands turn new and emerging platforms into real sales channels.

Our integrated acquisition strategy connects best-in-class teams across TikTok, Whatnot, Meta, Snap, and beyond - eliminating the need to stitch together multiple partners.

Third blends deep niche expertise with modern execution to launch, operate, and scale commerce on new platforms, transforming culture, creators, and content into real product sales.

The Role

We're looking for a full-time Studio & Office Manager to own the day-to-day operations of our office and livestream studios. This is an on-site role based in our Culver City, CA office and studio.

This is not about people telling you what to do.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role responsible for keeping a busy office and livestream studios running smoothly.

You are the point person for clients and customers on site. You greet visitors and make them feel welcome. You ensure that products are shipped and received correctly, inventory is stocked and organized, and lunch arrives on time. You pitch in to flip sets when that’s needed, and you keep things neat and organized.

This role is about taking initiative, making sure the right things happen at the right time—and helping the team do its best work.

What You’ll Do

Own Office Management & Hospitality

  • Manage recurring office needs including snacks, beverages, water service, meals, office supplies, mail, and deliveries.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the landlord/building management and coordinate facilities requests, repairs, access, and other building needs.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Coordinate hospitality and on-site logistics for client visits, livestreams, meetings, and events, including food, beverages, space readiness, and other day-of needs.
  • Ensure cleanliness across all aspects of the office and kitchens.

Own Sample & Inventory Management

  • Own the organization, tracking, storage, and movement of client product samples across the studio.
  • Maintain accurate visibility into studio inventory, including client products, samples, equipment, and other studio assets.
  • Establish and maintain an organized system so teams can quickly identify what inventory is on hand, where it is located, and what can be returned, shipped, or disposed of.
  • Coordinate shipment of products to and from clients, affiliates, hosts, and other partners.
  • Proactively identify excess or aging inventory and coordinate its return, redistribution, or disposal.

Support the Employee Experience

  • Support the on-site experience for new hires, including workspace readiness and first-day logistics.
  • Manage employee swag inventory and coordinate shipments to employees.
  • Partner with HR on employee events, celebrations, office gatherings, and other culture initiatives.

Support Studio Operations

  • Partner with the Director of Livestream to build and manage the monthly livestream calendar, including the booking of and coordination with talent.
  • Plan and direct set resets between productions and ensure brand products and assets are cleared and organized.
  • Keep sets, storage areas, common areas, and client-facing spaces clean, organized, and ready for production.
  • Coordinate day-to-day studio needs and serve as an extra set of hands when production teams need operational support.
  • Anticipate upcoming studio needs and make sure supplies, products, equipment, and spaces are ready before clients and production teams arrive.
  • Serve as a go-to operational resource for the studio, responding to needs from clients, production teams, Business Development, HR, and other internal teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in office management, studio operations, hospitality, events, retail operations, production coordination, or another fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Excellent communications skills, professional presence and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to triage competing requests, determine priorities, and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment where plans and priorities can change quickly.
  • Basic tech skills: Experience with MS Office, Google Suite, Slack or similar
  • Must be physically able to lift and carry packages, move around the building throughout the day, and move quickly between tasks.
  • Experience in livestream, social commerce, e-commerce, or the creator economy preferred.

Who You Are

  • You don’t wait for permission; you know what to do, you take initiative and you react in the moment.
  • You’re okay with ambiguity. You take a “figure it out” approach to problems.
  • You are energized by people and activity. You are friendly and curious when meeting someone new. You feel like strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet.
  • You manage your time and your space with strong attention to the details. There’s a place for everything, and when there isn’t, you’ll find one.
  • You naturally organize and prioritize.
  • You are seeking a role that allows you to explore, be challenged, learn, and grow.

Why This Role Matters

Third is on the cutting edge of commerce. We’re building something ambitious.

But great work doesn’t happen by accident.

It takes someone who keeps the details moving and the team on track.

This role owns that.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
