The Studio Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the LA studio’s physical environment. This includes a focus on building services, office infrastructure, technical equipment, maintenance, vendor relationships, health & safety, and supporting a productive and engaging workplace for all employees. The role ensures the studio remains functional, safe, and welcoming to staff, visitors, and production partners.
This role is based at the Los Angeles studio, supporting approximately 100–150 employees across production, creative, and support teams. The Studio Coordinator is responsible for overseeing onsite facilities services, including building operations, equipment procurement, maintenance, security, and cleaning. The role assists with managing multiple vendor and contractor relationships. The position works closely with global operations and local leadership to ensure the LA studio environment aligns with organizational standards and supports the needs of a fast-paced animation production studio.
About the role:
The Studio Coordinator role will focus on the below categories:
Facility Services
- Oversee the LA studio’s facility operations, including maintenance, security, cleaning, and general repairs.
- Proactively manage building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and respond quickly to maintenance issues.
- Coordinate fit-outs, renovations, and layout changes including any relocation planning in collaboration with production and leadership teams.
- Partners with People & Culture to ensure high-performance studio environments, including meeting space management and ergonomic workspaces.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and emergency preparedness drills.
- Maintain building access controls and security systems.
- Champion a safe and inclusive workplace through proactive facilities planning and initiatives.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Assist with vendor contracts and relationships (cleaning, security, maintenance, etc.).
- Track contracts and service level agreements to ensure value and high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee contractor work onsite, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
Operational Support
- Support the smooth operation of the studio, including supplies, utilities, parking, mailroom, and working with People & Culture on space planning.
- Maintain accurate floorplans and coordinate seating arrangements with IT and People & Culture.
- Assist leadership in managing the facilities budget.
- Partner with IT teams to establish studio equipment needs and assist with procurement, infrastructure improvements and upgrades.
Team & Culture Support
- Work closely with the People & Culture team to ensure the physical space supports employee wellbeing and engagement.
- Coordinate logistics for events, visitors, and team offsites.
- Help foster a creative, inclusive, and vibrant studio culture through space and environmental design.

About you:
- 3+ years in facilities or operations management, ideally in a creative or studio environment
- Demonstrated experience assisting with vendor relationships, projects, and building operations
- Knowledge of local building codes, OH&S standards, and environmental best practices
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proactive communicator with a calm, solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the evolving needs of a production environment

Salary Range: $52,000.00-$65,000.00
