The Strategic Workforce Planning Business Partner is a highly visible and influential role, serving as a trusted strategic advisor to Zoom’s key business leaders. You will help develop and drive Zoom’s company-wide Workforce Plan. By leveraging deep, data-driven insights, you will directly influence critical business and talent decision-making across the company.

Reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Workforce Planning, you will be central to:

  • Aligning headcount, financial, and strategic plans.

  • Centralizing and standardizing headcount management and reporting.

  • Integrating workforce insights seamlessly into core business planning cycles by collaborating with Business Leaders, FP&A, People Experience (HR), and Talent Acquisition.

About the Team

The Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) team is a newly established and high-impact competency at Zoom. As a critical, cross-functional group, with a mission to ensure Zoom has the right people, with the right skills, and at the right time to achieve its future business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Being a trusted strategic partner and advisor to designated business leaders to drive the development and execution of Zoom's Workforce Plan.

  • Influencing decision-making across Zoom by leveraging comprehensive data-driven insights and strategic workforce recommendations.

  • Establishing and maintaining standardized methodologies for headcount reporting, planning, and management.

  • Being central to the process of standardizing and centralizing headcount management, reporting, and associated governance across the company.

  • Ensuring tight alignment between the business's headcount plans, financial forecasts, and corporate strategic objectives.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Workforce Planning, Corporate Planning, Management Consulting, or a related data-intensive strategic function.

  • Ability to navigate complexity and uncertainty by proactively developing structure, clarifying requirements, and prioritizing critical work streams within a newly established function.

  • Experience serving as a strategic partner and consultant to executive-level and below business leaders.

  • Successfully translated business strategy and financial plans into actionable workforce plans over multiple planning cycles.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large, complex datasets to produce clear, data-driven insights and recommendations.

  • Strong understanding of Strategic Workforce Planning drivers.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage and align diverse cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with Workday Adaptive Planning or a similar tool.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$97,600.00

Maximum:

$225,700.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
