This position is based in our Irvine, California Corporate Headquarters with a weekly hybrid schedule with 3 days in office.

Ingram Micro is seeking a highly motivated Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager; who's expertise is in Professional Services and Marketing to lead sourcing initiatives across the following areas:

  • Agency Services

  • Legal Services

  • Financial Services

  • Other Professional Services

Your role:

In this critical role, you will partner with corresponding stakeholders, agencies, and suppliers to drive value, negotiate contracts, optimize spend, and deliver best-in-class solutions that enable impactful experiences.

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end indirect sourcing processes, developing category strategies, and ensuring supplier performance across a wide range of legal, financial and marketing initiatives (including live events, sponsorships, digital campaigns, creative services, production, and media buying).

  • Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Lead indirect sourcing initiatives for financial, legal, human resources and marketing categories.

  • Category Strategy Development: Build and maintain comprehensive indirect category strategies to drive value, innovation, and supplier diversity. Align indirect sourcing initiatives with business priorities to deliver value beyond cost.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Events, Legal, Financial and Brand teams; understand business needs and provide sourcing solutions aligned with goals. Driving cross-functional collaboration and lead change initiatives in sourcing processes and tools.

  • Supplier Management: Identify, qualify, negotiate, and manage indirect strategic suppliers; lead regular performance reviews and relationship management processes. Build high-impact supplier relationships to improve service, quality, and innovation.

  • Contract Negotiation: Structure and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and pricing models to achieve optimal terms.

  • Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities, value adds, and efficiency improvements while maintaining service quality.

  • Risk Management: Ensure all indirect sourcing activities comply with corporate policies and mitigate legal, financial, and reputational risks.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay current on market trends, innovations, agency landscape changes, and emerging best practices.

  • Data & Analytics: Track and report on spend, savings, supplier performance, and category metrics to leadership.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM) a plus.

  • 6+ years of indirect sourcing, or vendor management experience with a strong focus on professional, legal, finance and marketing services (events and agency spend).

  • Proven experience leading indirect sourcing projects for events, experiential activations, creative, media buying, PR, and digital agencies.

  • Strong contract negotiation skills, including SOW development, SLA negotiation, and pricing structures.

  • Excellent relationship management skills with a track record of partnering successfully with stakeholders and suppliers.

  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision making and supplier performance management.

  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Experience with e-sourcing tools, contract management systems, and procurement technology (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, SpendHQ) preferred.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive influencing skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Familiarity with global indirect sourcing and supplier markets.

  • Experience managing consolidations, competitive RFPs, and supplier rationalization programs.

  • Background in highly regulated or matrixed organizations (e.g., healthcare, media and entertainment, technology sectors).

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $110,600.00 - $188,100.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
