Hadrian — Manufacturing the Future

Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies make rockets, jets, and satellites 10x faster and 2x cheaper. Our CEO, Chris Power, discusses the importance of what we're building in this video.

We are a lean but mighty team (and growing!) people that are passionate about building critical infrastructure to support the nation and the advancement of humanity.

To support our ambitious vision, we have raised > $200M from Lux Capital, A16Z, Founders Fund, Construct Capital, Caffeinated Capital, and more.

In this role you will:

  • Lead strategic sourcing efforts for the Atlas program, driving supplier selection, negotiation, and long-term partnership development to support program goals.

  • Act as the connective tissue between suppliers and customers, ensuring alignment on requirements, timelines, and quality standards throughout the supply chain.

  • Own end-to-end supply chain execution, from procurement strategy through delivery, with a focus on cost, quality, and schedule optimization.

  • Develop and maintain robust supplier relationships, leveraging data and performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.

Role Competencies:

  • Project Management - Strong time management and work ethic. Skilled in juggling multiple accounts and balancing priorities efficiently. Works well with cross-functional teams. High attention to detail, ensures accuracy in proposals, contracts, and communications.

  • Industry Knowledge - Deep technical & product understanding, able to grasp technical specifications and how the product solves industry-specific problems. Generates market insights, maintains awareness of industry trends, challenges, and (bonus) regulations.

  • Adaptability - has worked in a startup, is familiar with demanding but constantly changing environments. Can move quickly. Can adjust approaches and strategies in response to feedback or unexpected challenges. Maintains motivation and positive attitude despite setbacks.

  • Relationship Building - Has strong interpersonal skills, easily connects with various stakeholders, including engineers and supply chain teams. Able to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively. Resourceful in addressing client challenges and proposing viable solutions. Ability to analyze customer needs and identify product fit.

For this role, the target salary range is $110,000 - $135,000 (actual range may vary based on experience).

This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

In addition to salary and equity, we offer:

- 100% coverage of platinum medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees

- 401k

- Relocation stipend if you're moving from outside of LA

- Flexible vacation policy

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
