The role requires expertise in telecom networking, Metro Ethernet, VoIP/SIP, MPLS, IP-VPN, and LAN/WAN integration, along with collaboration across engineering, operations, product, and account teams.

How You Will Make an Impact
- Assess clients' business and technical needs, providing strategic recommendations for Spectrum's fiber solutions
- Deliver technical and product presentations, network design consulting and formal proposal writing for national accounts
- Focus on Metro Ethernet, Internet, Wave, VOIP, PRI and Video solutions, collaborating with Network Engineering, Operations and Product teams to develop unique service offerings
- Develop technical responses and strategies for RFIs and RFPs as an integral account team member
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Spectrum Business Data services, supporting solution development and proof of concept designs internally
- Present solutions to large enterprise customers and executive leaders, ensuring alignment with client requirements
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to inform solution design and customer recommendations
- Ensure compliance with all Spectrum policies and procedures

What You Will Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited organization (GED)
- CCDA or CCNA certification required
Experience
- 5+ years of sales engineering and networking experience in the telecom or service provider industry
Skills
- Read, write, speak and understand English
- In-depth knowledge across technical disciplines, including Data and Voice communications, IP security, converging technologies, VoIP/SIP, IP-VPN, DWDM, MPLS/VPLS, Metro Ethernet and LAN/WAN integration
- Experience designing and implementing complex Metro Ethernet, VOIP/SIP and MPLS solutions
- Proven success supporting and presenting to large enterprise customers and executive leadership
- Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record and auto insurance coverage
Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in IT or equivalent training, education and experience

- CCNP certification preferred
- MEF-CECP 2.0 certification preferred
