About HeyGen

At HeyGen, our mission is to make visual storytelling accessible to all. Over the last decade, visual content has become the preferred method of information creation, consumption, and retention. But the ability to create such content, in particular videos, continues to be costly and challenging to scale. Our ambition is to build technology that equips more people with the power to reach, captivate, and inspire audiences.

Role Overview

HeyGen is looking for a Strategic Revenue Partnerships Manager to build and scale our revenue partnership motion. This is a quota-carrying, deal-closing role. It is not a traditional alliances role focused only on partner relationships, logos, or co-marketing activity.

You will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing revenue-generating partnerships with technology platforms, agencies, system integrators, and enterprise ecosystem partners. The goal is to create partnerships that directly produce pipeline, revenue, distribution, and enterprise adoption for HeyGen.

You will operate like a strategic AE with a partnership lens: identifying high-value opportunities, building the business case, aligning internal teams, negotiating commercial terms, and getting deals signed.

What You’ll Do
  • Source and close strategic partnership deals
Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close high-impact partnerships that create measurable revenue for HeyGen.
  • Own partner revenue targets
Carry a partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue number. Build and manage a clear pipeline, forecast accurately, and deliver against quarterly targets.
  • Structure commercial agreements
Lead commercial discussions, define partnership models, negotiate terms, and work with Legal, Finance, Product, and Sales to get deals across the finish line.
  • Build repeatable GTM motions
Work with Sales and Marketing to create co-sell plays, referral motions, joint campaigns, webinars, and account-mapping programs that convert into qualified pipeline.
  • Drive product and integration opportunities
Partner with Product and Engineering to identify high-value integrations using HeyGen’s API, workspace, and enterprise platform capabilities.
  • Manage executive-level partner relationships
Act as the business owner for key partners, managing relationship strategy, contract execution, performance tracking, and executive alignment.
  • Build the function from zero to one
Create the operating system for HeyGen’s revenue partnership motion, including partner qualification, deal structure, pipeline tracking, enablement, and success metrics.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience
Experience in strategic partnerships, business development, channel sales, enterprise sales, or platform partnerships within SaaS, cloud, AI, or marketing technology.
  • Proven closing ability
You have independently sourced, negotiated, and closed complex commercial deals. You are comfortable owning the full deal cycle from first conversation to signed agreement.
  • Revenue ownership mindset
You are motivated by pipeline, bookings, and revenue impact. You do not measure success by meetings, partner announcements, or relationship activity alone.
  • Strong commercial judgment
You know how to evaluate whether a partnership can become real revenue. You can separate nice-to-have ecosystem relationships from high-impact commercial opportunities.
  • Executive communication skills
You can build trust with senior partner stakeholders, lead commercial conversations, and represent HeyGen clearly and credibly in strategic discussions.
  • Cross-functional leadership
You can work effectively with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and executive teams to move complex deals forward.
  • Builder mentality
You are autonomous, resourceful, and comfortable operating in ambiguity. You can build a new function from the ground up while still closing near-term revenue.
Why This Role Matters
  • Partnerships will be a key growth lever for HeyGen as we expand into enterprise customers, platform integrations, and partner-led distribution.
  • The right person will not just manage partnerships — they will close deals, create revenue, and define how HeyGen scales through the broader ecosystem.
  • Opportunity to win a category and build an ecosystem in the most dynamic part of the industry (AI video)
  • Opportunity to architect deals with most influential companies in software

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
