We're looking for a Strategic Planning Analyst (Contract) to support the planning function in the Office of the COO. This contract role will include managing headcount planning, tracking budgets, and supporting financial operations. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Planning, you'll work with Finance, People, and Marketing leadership.
What you'll do
- Track and manage headcount, open roles, and hiring activity
- Work with People Services to keep data accurate and up to date
- Provide clear visibility into active roles and the hiring pipeline
- Reconcile budgets weekly and track spend across cost centers
- Partner with team leads to validate entries and flag discrepancies
- Report on actuals, build pivot tables, and support ad hoc analysis
- Handle light accounting tasks tied to chargebacks and fund allocations
- Respond to data requests with accurate, timely reporting
We get excited about candidates, like you, because...
- 2+ years of experience in financial operations, business planning, workforce management, and/or related disciplines (preferred within media, tech, or entertainment industries)
- Advanced Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel skills — pivot tables, formulas, workflow automation, and creating clear, executive-ready data visuals
- Familiarity with workforce and finance tools like Greenhouse, Workday, or SmartSheets a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to work well across teams and communicate effectively at all levels
