About the job

About ClaimsHero

At ClaimsHero, we're tackling a fundamental injustice. Companies are often economically incentivized to cause mass harm, but the system to address those harms is broken. Regulation and government oversight lag far behind technological development, private litigation can't match the scale of harm that global mega-companies create, and as a result, billions of dollars never reach the hands of the consumers who need them most.

We're building a technology platform to rebalance the scales — and we didn't stop at software. ClaimsHero is a licensed Arizona ABS (Alternative Business Structure) law firm: we combine the capabilities of a law firm with the scale of a technology company, pursuing mass legal claims alongside elite trial firms. In the vast majority of cases, harmed individuals have no idea they're even eligible or what their rights are. Our job is to find them and bring them onto our platform so they can fully assert their legal rights, all at zero cost out-of-pocket.

We're a Series A startup moving fast: 600,000+ users who've collected millions of dollars in legal claims and settlements. If you want to build something real and do it now, keep reading.

The Role

ClaimsHero is hiring a Strategic Partnerships & Growth Initiatives team member to work hand in hand with the CEO to identify, test, launch, and scale growth opportunities outside of traditional performance marketing.

No one is going to hand you a roadmap here — that's the point. You'll hunt for the channels, partnerships, and loops that could become ClaimsHero's next scalable acquisition engine, test them fast, kill what doesn't work, and double down on what does. Some bets will fail. You'll learn fast when they do and keep moving.

This role is for someone who is high agency, analytical, and hands-on. You are obsessed with growth: understanding funnels inside and out, uncovering unconventional acquisition channels, testing creative growth strategies, and developing partnerships that can reach large numbers of potential users.

Come in and build. From day one, your work decides how the next hundred thousand clients find us.

What You'll Do

  • Work directly with the CEO to identify and prioritize new avenues for user growth.
  • Develop and execute creative growth experiments outside of paid performance marketing.
  • Understand each ClaimsHero campaign and its acquisition funnel from initial awareness through completed sign-up.
  • Identify new channels, communities, platforms, and distribution opportunities that can reach eligible claimants at scale.
  • Source and develop one-to-many partnerships with organizations that can introduce ClaimsHero to large, relevant audiences.
  • Design growth experiments with clear hypotheses, measurable inputs, and defined success criteria.
  • Analyze results, identify what drives performance, and turn successful tests into repeatable growth engines.
  • Find and address friction throughout the user journey to improve conversion and activation.
  • Build reporting that clearly communicates what is working, what is not, and what ClaimsHero should test next.
  • Do the unglamorous work when it's the right call: pull the list yourself, send the cold email, test the flow by hand. Scrappy beats polished here.
  • Stay relentlessly curious about emerging platforms, growth tactics, consumer behavior, and best practices.

Questions You'll Help Answer

  • How can we maximize the network effects of a platform with more than 600,000 users?
  • Which growth channels should we be testing tomorrow that we are not using today?
  • Where can we build one-to-many partnerships that unlock meaningful distribution?
  • How can we turn our existing users into an engine for referrals, engagement, and future growth?
  • How should we structure and measure each test so we understand which inputs drive results?
  • Where are users dropping out of our funnels, and what experiments could meaningfully improve conversion?
  • Which unconventional growth ideas could become ClaimsHero's next scalable acquisition channel?

Who You Are

You're obsessed with growth. You see a number and want to know what's behind it. You hear about a company that grew fast and want to know exactly how. And you've never been content to just run someone else's playbook.

Specifically:

  • You have entrepreneurial drive — you've built or led something where the outcome wasn't guaranteed. You're comfortable on the edge of failure, you learn fast when something breaks, and you keep moving.
  • You have 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in growth, startups, strategy, partnerships, operations, consulting, or another highly analytical environment.
  • You love metrics and want to understand the data — not simply receive a summary of it.
  • You are hypothesis-driven and fast: you'd rather launch something imperfect this week and learn from it than launch something polished next month.
  • You are creative, resourceful, and scrappy, with a bias toward testing ideas instead of endlessly discussing them.
  • You are an exceptional problem solver who can move from an ambiguous question to a structured plan of action without waiting for direction.
  • You are equally comfortable analyzing a funnel, researching a new channel, contacting a potential partner, and launching an experiment.
  • You are a perpetual learner who actively seeks out new ideas, tools, and approaches.
  • You thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and successful ideas are scaled quickly.
  • You communicate clearly, take ownership, and are comfortable working closely with a founder.

Things that stand out to us: you've started something of your own, whether or not it worked. You've grown an audience, a community, or a user base from close to zero. You've run tests where you designed the measurement yourself. You've talked your way into a partnership that shouldn't have said yes.

Why You Should Be Excited

  • Work beside a founder every day. You'll report directly to the CEO, see how growth bets actually get made, and be in the room when they're placed. There's no better apprenticeship in company-building.
  • A leadership team that's done it before. Three former venture-backed founders on staff. Our CTO was a pre-IPO engineer at Facebook and helped grow the London office. Every leader has at least two years of 0-to-1 experience. You'll learn how startups actually get built from people who've built them.
  • Real impact, immediately. Your experiments reach hundreds of thousands of people trying to get back money they're rightfully owed. Launch this week, learn next week — no backlog purgatory.
  • Your wins become engines. A successful test here doesn't end as a slide in a deck. It becomes a repeatable acquisition channel that you found, proved, and scaled.
  • Full company exposure. Small team. You'll see how product, engineering, ops, growth, and partnerships operate, and you'll have a seat at the table when it matters.

The Details

  • Compensation: Base salary range of $100,000 to $140,000, based on prior impact, plus competitive equity.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision.
  • Location: Miami Beach and open to top candidates who can relocate within 3 months.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
