Candescent is seeking a driven and versatile professional to join our team as a Strategic Marketplace Success Manager. This hybrid role is designed for someone with a solid foundation in partnership management and fintech industry dynamics, who is ready to take ownership of both relationship management and domain expertise. You’ll be entrusted with managing key fintech partner relationships and actively contributing to our understanding of industry trends, while developing into a subject matter expert over time.  

You’ll work cross-functionally to onboard and support fintech partners, analyze performance data, and help shape Candescent’s strategic approach to the marketplace. This is an ideal opportunity for a skilled individual who is comfortable operating independently, eager to deepen their expertise, and ready to make a tangible impact.  

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables: 

  • Own the relationship lifecycle for fintech partners, ensuring thorough onboarding, proactive support, and ongoing engagement.  

  • Analyze partner performance and market data to identify opportunities for optimization and growth. 

  • Help the partners grow and scale within the Candescent Ecosystem 

  • Stay informed of  emerging fintech trends, regulatory changes, and technology developments, providing actionable insights to the team.  

  • Represent Candescent in partner meetings, industry events, and customer conversations, articulating our perspective and building credibility.  

  • Ensure the success of the Candescent Marketplace, working cross functionally across Candescent to ensure partners quickly realize value and have a best in class experience. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute partnership strategies that drive business outcomes.  

  • Maintain high-quality documentation and scalable processes to support partner success.  

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field.  

  • 3–5 years of experience in partner management, business development, customer success, or a related field—ideally with exposure to fintech, SaaS, or platform businesses.  

  • Demonstrated ability to manage external relationships and drive results.  

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making.  

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with confidence in both written and verbal interactions.  

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.  

  • Curiosity about fintech industry trends and a desire to build deep expertise over time.  

Preferred Distinctions: 

  • Experience supporting or managing partnerships in technology or fintech environments.  

  • Exposure to onboarding workflows, CRM tools, or partner enablement strategies.  

  • Experience with content creation, public speaking, or participation in industry events.  

  • Passion for continuous learning and helping partners succeed.
