Who we are looking for

We are looking for a US-based Business Development Manager with a comprehensive network and understanding of the digital agency space. Your key responsibility will be to open new accounts and drive revenue.

Infinum builds digital products and that define how people live, work, and communicate. We're a team of 350+ designers and engineers across the US and Europe. We've spent 20 years earning the kind of trust that leads to long-term partnerships with iconic brands like Porsche, Adidas, and Philips.
Our digital solutions cover mobile, web, cybersecurity, cloud, IoT, data engineering, and AI/ML. We solve real business challenges and deliver measurable value to our clients. If your background is in selling SaaS licenses or offshore bench capacity, this probably isn't the right fit — we sell complex customized solutions.

You will collaborate closely with solution architects, product strategists, and our marketing team to drive new business. You will be a part of a world-class team that focuses on quality delivery, above all else.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion & Strategy: Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to expand Infinum’s footprint in the US market, translating industry trends into actionable business opportunities.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales cycle, using one’s own network, from lead generation to contract negotiation. Build and maintain a robust pipeline through strategic networking, market research, and targeted outreach. You will be fully supported by the team.
  • Consultative Selling: Act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients. Collaborate with internal technical and design teams to translate client requirements into viable digital product roadmaps and commercial proposals.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the creation of high-quality proposals and pitch presentations that clearly articulate how Infinum helps clients achieve their desired outcomes and KPIs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers to encourage recurring business and referrals.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and revenue forecasts. Provide management with data-driven insights regarding market dynamics and operational efficiency.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and speaking engagements to enhance brand visibility and network with potential partners.
  • Travel: Candidates may be required to travel to cities where clients reside, as appropriate.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Industry Experience: Proven Business Development experience within a digital agency or custom software development consultancy. You've sold custom digital services — think mobile apps, web platforms, AI/data builds, and/or design systems — where the deliverable was something built from scratch for a specific client, not a license or a pre-packaged platform. You know what it means to sell a team and a process, not a product.
  • Market Expertise: Demonstrated success in targeting, opening accounts, and closing significant deals.
  • Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present the high level of complex technical concepts, as well as creative solutions to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strategic Approach: Ability to proactively identify client needs and mold them into successful solutions we can deliver.
  • Collaboration: Experience working in a cross-functional environment, coordinating with creative, technical, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive client solutions.
  • Network: A robust network of buyers you’ll be able to activate within 1-2 quarters.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
