The Strategic Growth Executive drives revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and partnerships, collaborating across teams and managing KPIs.
The Strategic Growth Executive is a pivotal role in our organization, responsible for driving strategic revenue growth through targeted sales initiatives and partnerships. This role acts as a sales overlay, working closely with our sales, marketing, and delivery teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within key strategic partnerships and accounts. The Strategic Growth Executive will report to the Manager of Strategic Growth and assist with the execution of Mission Cloud’s strategic growth program, focused on identifying and developing new sales channels and strategic partnerships, with an emphasis on the Private Equity channel. Responsible for program management, KPIs and reporting, building executive relationships, collaborating across departments (e.g. Finance, Marketing, etc.), fielding inbound referrals and taking introductory sales calls, prospecting new partnerships, and partnering with field sales reps in the closing of new business.
Responsibilities
- Sales Overlay: Partner with sales teams to provide subject matter expertise, strategic guidance, and support in closing complex deals. Act as a trusted advisor to sales leaders and account executives.
- Build executive relationships with strategic partners and establish and maintain communication channels, meeting cadences and reporting methods
- Developing and maintaining reporting for sales activities and customer install base activity
- Maintain program KPIs, including new logo acquisition and bookings
- Build referral pipeline and partner with field AEs to close opportunities
- Field inbound referrals, take introductory sales calls, perform preliminary opportunity qualification and identify responsible field account executives for hand-off and knowledge transfer
- Prospecting into new strategic partnerships and AWS contacts
- Preparing and delivering presentations on Mission service offerings and competencies
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in sales, business development, or strategic growth roles within the professional services, consulting, or cloud SaaS industries.
- Direct experience with the Private Equity market, either working directly within a PE operating team or value creation function, or selling into PE value creation
- Proven track record of exceeding goals and driving revenue growth and market expansion through strategic channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Exceptional executive presence and presentation skills, suitable for senior executive level conversations with customer C-Suite and PE operating partners or value creation stakeholders
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with diverse teams to achieve business objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

- Familiarity with CRM tools, sales analytics, and reporting.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification to be achieved within the first year of employment at Mission Cloud
- Must be able and willing to manage up to 40% travel
