The Strategic Account Executive serves as the primary relationship manager for assigned health systems, with a focused mandate to drive administrative, operational, and clinical pull-through of enterprise and health-system agreements at the local and regional level. This role partners closely with Regional Account Executives (RAEs) and cross-functional internal teams to ensure successful implementation, workflow integration, provider engagement, and sustained adoption of genomic testing programs—particularly within NICU and PICU environments. The Strategic Account Executive plays a critical role in advancing utilization, identifying growth and expansion opportunities, and strengthening long-term health-system partnerships.
Primary Focus
• Pull-through of enterprise and health-system agreements at local and regional level
• NICU WGS/WES program growth
• Health system and hospital relationship management
• Provider engagement, education, and clinical adoption
• Test utilization, operational integration, and workflow optimization
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned NICU and PICU health-system relationships
• Drive adoption and growth of NICU WGS/WES and related genomic testing programs
• Partner with RAEs to map stakeholders and support enterprise-to-site pull-through
• Support onboarding, implementation, workflow integration, and educational initiatives
• Manage inbound escalations and coordinate resolution with internal teams
• Monitor ordering patterns, utilization trends, and provider feedback
• Identify and advance expansion opportunities within major health systems
• Support strategic initiatives and pilot programs
• Maintain accurate account documentation and action plans
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
· 5+ years of experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or health-system account management
· Experience working with hospital systems and NICU/PICU environments including robust understanding of health system operations and governance
· Strong understanding of clinical adoption workflows and operational implementation
· Proven ability to manage complex relationships and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
