ROLE 👩🏽💻👨💻As our Startup Program Manager, you will own the design and execution of programs, partnerships, and campaigns that position Superhuman as an essential tool for the world's most innovative startups. This role sits at the intersection of partner marketing, field marketing, and community development—with a specific focus on attracting and engaging startup founders and early-stage teams. You'll be the architect of our startup ecosystem strategy, building meaningful relationships and creating experiences that drive acquisition, retention, and advocacy within the startup community.
Your areas of ownership will include:
Program strategy:
Design and manage a comprehensive marketing and engagement program for startup founders and teams, including perks programs, onboarding journeys, and product education.
Develop go-to-market strategies that drive acquisition, retention and advocacy within the startup community.
Maintain a clear and measurable roadmap for startup marketing initiatives.
Partner marketing & campaigns:
Identify and cultivate partnerships with accelerators, VCs, incubators, and ecosystem builders
Co-create and co-market events, campaigns, and offers that drive joint value and generate startup pipeline.
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Enablement, and Product Marketing to build and launch compelling programs and content, and ensure alignment across the startup customer journey.
Community engagement:
Launch and scale founder-centric events, including roundtables, workshops, and AMAs (virtual and in-person).
Develop strategies for engaging startup founders in relevant communities—Slack groups, founder forums, subreddits, etc.
Act as a visible and approachable ambassador for Superhuman within the startup ecosystem.
Our ideal candidate likely has:
Experience: 5-8+ years of professional experience with direct expertise marketing to startups, including partner marketing, field marketing, SMB sales, or ecosystem/community roles.
And strengths in the following areas:
Startup Ecosystem Expert: You have deep familiarity with the startup ecosystem and firsthand experience working with or marketing to startup founders. Bonus points for an existing network in the venture or startup ecosystem (connections to accelerators, founder groups, or communities).
Community Builder: You have proven experience managing events (live and virtual), partnerships, and community-building efforts end-to-end. You're passionate about creating remarkable customer experiences that raise the bar for attendees and drive measurable results.
Strategic Program Owner: You excel at designing comprehensive marketing programs and strategies that drive acquisition, retention, and advocacy. You can maintain clear, measurable roadmaps while balancing strategic thinking with tactical execution.
Partnership Development: You're skilled at identifying and cultivating partnerships with accelerators, VCs, incubators, and ecosystem builders. You can co-create and co-market events, campaigns, and offers that drive joint value and generate startup pipeline.
Attention to Detail: You have excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills. You're extremely detail-oriented and able to build and execute project plans that require both high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
Start-to-Finish Ownership: You act with 100% responsibility for your outcomes as well as the outcomes of the company, and are able to move quickly to find creative solutions to problems (you don't let yourself be blocked!).
AI Enthusiast: You believe AI will revolutionize how we work as well as the experiences that we create for our customers. Driven by passion and curiosity, you leverage AI to dramatically increase your own productivity and the impact of your team.
Cross-Functional Collaborator: You work seamlessly with Sales, Customer Enablement, and Product Marketing to build and launch compelling programs and content, ensuring alignment across the startup customer journey.
Location: You must be based in San Francisco to serve as the face of Superhuman and represent our brand in person at startup ecosystem events.
Our starting salaries for this role range from $136,000 - $170,000 USD. The salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, and company stock options.
You might notice our salary ranges are quite broad - that's because we are hiring for this role across the United States and Canada. We tailor our compensation to each location to make sure we're competitive in every market.
We take a location-based pay approach and compensation for this role is dependent on several factors such as location, work experience, job-related skills, business needs, and market demands.
