Unlike a program or project management role, this position requires ownership of product vision, strategy, and roadmap execution across multiple systems domains. You will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, aligning system capabilities with high-impact business needs. The ideal candidate brings a strategic and analytical mindset, deep experience in both the functional and technical aspects of enterprise system implementations, and a strong ability to drive alignment and clarity across cross-functional teams.

As Staff Systems Transformation Manager, Business Transformation, you will play a key role in prioritizing features, leading integrations, and shaping process improvements that scale with Crunchyroll’s global growth and evolving operating model. • System Implementation & Feature Delivery
Author Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and functional specifications that balance business impact with technical feasibility. Coordinate across engineering, vendor teams, and business owners to deliver system configurations, integrations, and workflows that support both daily operations and long-term transformation.
  • Business-Technical Liaison & Solution Translator
Serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the solution lifecycle. Translate complex business processes into structured system requirements, data models, and scalable architecture. Articulate system capabilities and trade-offs to both engineers and business users to drive informed decision-making.
  • Operational Process Design & Scaling
Assess pain points and inefficiencies across digital supply chain operations. Partner with business and technical teams to redesign workflows and implement system-driven, repeatable solutions that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and support future business scale. Lead continuous improvement initiatives grounded in data and cross-functional feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Influence
Build strong partnerships across Engineering, Finance, Legal, Programming, Content Ops, Marketing, and Data teams. Proactively manage interdependencies, clarify priorities, and ensure deliverables meet both strategic and operational requirements. Serve as the connective tissue across stakeholder groups, keeping communication open, proactive, and focused on value delivery.
About You

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
