Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Systems Engineer - Talon Test Lead to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in El Segundo, CA.
In this role, you will:
- Be accountable to the Program Director to ensure SE cost, schedule, and technical execution using application of program management, system engineering, integration & test principles and methodologies
- Be responsible for horizontal integration across engineering disciplines and IPTs to ensure successful execution of the technical statement of work.
- Be responsible for Configuration and Data Management processes and SE Products including requirements, architectures, operations concepts, models and simulations, interface control documents and verification plans and reports.
- Provide strong written, verbal, and stakeholder interface skills along with the ability to lead through influence to motivate peer IPT behavior to execute cross IPT team goals
- Manage program risk database
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelors degree in a STEM field and at least 12 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field and at least 10 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a PhD and at least 8 years of relevant military / professional experience
- Must have an active US Government Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

- Active security clearance
- Functional management experience
- Risk management experience
