The Staff Product Manager will drive the vision and strategy for Dash's multi-surface AI-powered assistant, ensuring cohesive user experiences across platforms and collaboration with various teams.
Role Description
Dropbox is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of Dash’s core surfaces—spanning desktop, mobile, and browser extension. Dash is Dropbox’s universal search and organizational assistant, helping people find, organize, and act on their work through powerful, AI-driven experiences.
In this role, you’ll shape how users engage with Dash across every touchpoint—defining how our assistant shows up contextually, seamlessly, and intelligently across platforms. You’ll own the cross-surface experience strategy, ensuring Dash feels cohesive and deeply useful no matter where people work.
This is a high-impact, 0→1 role at the center of Dropbox’s AI transformation. You’ll explore new interaction models, drive system-wide consistency, and push the boundaries of what AI can do for productivity across modalities and devices.
Responsibilities- Own and evolve the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Dash’s multi-surface experiences (desktop, mobile, browser extension).

- Translate AI capabilities into concrete strategies, hypotheses, and product bets that add value into user’s workflows
- Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Research, and GTM to ship AI-powered features that delight users and scale globally.
- Collaborate with Dropbox’s AI/ML and Platform teams to ensure privacy-respecting, reliable, and efficient AI implementations.

- Define success metrics, measure impact, and drive iteration through experimentation and disciplined execution.

- 10+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex, multi-platform product initiatives.
- Proven success building and shipping AI-powered or cross-platform products at scale—ideally in productivity, SaaS, or consumer software.

- Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to inspire teams and influence senior stakeholders.
- Passion for the future of work, AI, and creating tools that help people focus and do their best work.
- Background in AI/ML, NLP, or data science.
- Experience building assistants, browser extensions, or context-aware productivity tools.
