Role Description

As the Staff Product Manager for Growth – Acquisition, you’ll own the strategy and execution of product-led acquisition for Dash. Your focus is on building and scaling the systems that bring new users and teams into the product — whether through organic viral loops, self-serve signups, or internal team expansion. You’ll drive the motions that make Dash the natural destination for individuals and organizations to start using AI to work smarter.

You’ll operate as both a strategic architect and hands-on executor: shaping company-level acquisition bets while running rapid experiments to identify scalable, compounding growth loops. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and GTM to surface the highest-leverage opportunities, accelerate adoption, and unlock new paths to growth.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. You bring a deep growth craft, sharp user instincts, and fluency in how to blend experimentation with systems thinking. You’ll work cross-functionally to identify inflection points for scale and accelerate Dash’s acquisition efforts through product-led innovation.

Responsibilities
  • Planning & forecasting: size opportunities, set goals, and align cross-functional teams on the metrics that matter.
  • Experimentation optimization: tighten our A/B pipeline—prioritize tests, speed up learning cycles, and ensure we extract signal from noise.
  • Growth-loop stewardship: diagnose loop health, spot friction points, and drive iterative improvements that compound over time.
  • Performance evaluation: monitor funnels end-to-end, surface insights, and recalibrate strategy when priorities shift.
  • Mentorship & collaboration: support and elevate fellow Growth PMs through knowledge-sharing, feedback, and peer alignment.
  • Executive communication: clearly and consistently communicate progress, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership on a recurring basis.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years focused specifically on product-led growth or self-serve motions.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Applied Math or Statistics, or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated success driving growth metrics (e.g. acquisition, activation, retention, monetization) through product experimentation and iterative development.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with experimentation tools, interpreting A/B test results, and comfort working with data (e.g. SQL, dashboards).
  • Deep understanding of growth loops, funnel mechanics, and compounding growth strategies across B2C or prosumer products.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to clearly synthesize insights and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of cross-functional leadership, including mentoring other PMs and aligning with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Data Science.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exceptional problem solving and execution capacity. Demonstrated success in solving difficult challenges to unlock growth.
  • Ownership and hustle: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive impact in ambiguous environments
  • Strong product sense: Possesses ability to guide their team in a highly ambiguous environment
  • Familiarity with AI-powered products and tools, including experience using or integrating them into user-facing workflows or internal growth systems.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
