About the RoleAs a Staff Product Manager focused on Data Integrations, you will shape and execute Onebrief's vision for how data moves seamlessly into and out of our platform. You'll own strategic integration decisions across robust ELT pipelines and clearly defined external APIs, ensuring our data integrations are reliable, secure, and mission-ready. Working closely with Engineering, Design, Partners, and Users, you'll prioritize high-impact initiatives that enhance operational planning and critical decision-making capabilities.
ResponsibilitiesDefine and Own Integration Strategy
Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap to integrate internal and external data sources with Onebrief's core platform.
Prioritize integration initiatives based on strategic importance, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
Drive Robust ELT Pipelines
Collaborate with Engineering to build and optimize scalable, secure, and reliable ELT processes.
Set and enforce rigorous data-quality standards and implement proactive monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Own External APIs
Define product requirements, lifecycle management, and strategic direction for external APIs enabling seamless data flow both into and out of Onebrief.
Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure APIs are secure, intuitive, well-documented, and meet developer experience expectations.
Measure and Communicate Impact
Define clear, measurable success metrics (OKRs/KPIs) that focus on operational outcomes, not just feature outputs.
Maintain clear, structured asynchronous communication to facilitate effective collaboration and rapid execution across distributed teams.
You excel in environments marked by complexity and ambiguity, and you're skilled at transforming vast and intricate data flows into clear, actionable insights. You effectively translate technical requirements into strategic outcomes and can align diverse stakeholders. Your approach is systematic, data-driven, and strategic, with a proven ability to deliver high-value outcomes quickly and efficiently.
Qualifications5+ years of experience (8+ preferred) as a product manager specializing in data integrations or data platforms, preferably in B2B SaaS environments.
Demonstrated expertise managing ELT processes, data transformations, using open source solutions.
Proven track record launching and iterating external or partner-facing APIs (REST or GraphQL), emphasizing developer experience and operational performance.
Deep knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices, ideally within regulated or defense-related sectors.
Exceptional skills in setting measurable goals, tracking key outcomes, and iterating based on empirical insights.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, particularly in asynchronous and globally distributed teams.
Bonus: Previous experience integrating military systems, command-and-control software, tactical data links, or telemetry feeds.
