What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll own key features of a consumer friendly learning experience. As an early member of the engineering team, you’ll play a critical role in setting the tone for Outsmart’s technical culture including setting standards for quality, scalability, and UX. You will work closely with Outsmart’s design team to ship and maintain state-of-the-art animations and interactive experiences. You’ll be expected to ship experiences that you would want to engage with. Our applications are built for both iOS and Android using Flutter, React Native, Rive, and Unity.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years mobile development experience, with demonstrable experience preferably using Flutter

  • Experience working with iOS native (Objective‑C / Swift)

  • Proven track record building and maintaining mobile apps at scale. 1M+ users preferred

  • Deep knowledge of performance tuning and mobile testing strategies

  • Experience writing unit/E2E tests

  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment

What You’ll Own

  • Own and develop new mobile features (currently in React Native moving to Flutter) end-to-end

  • Bridge into native modules like Swift when performance or access demands

  • Work closely with the Design team to ship high-quality Rive and Unity experiences

  • Own end-to-end testing for all mobile features

  • Collaborate with the broader engineering team to establish technical culture and quality standards

  • Conduct code reviews and participate in architecture design sessions

Salary Range: $175K-230K
