Our client in downtown Los Angeles is looking for a smart, reliable, young accounting professionals that are interested in real estate, investment banking, and private equity.  

Job Description

Prepare Journal Entries

• Complete General Ledger operations

• Administer month end close process and prepare divisional financial statements

• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet account balances (AR, AP, Cash, Bad Debt, etc.)

• Assist with the preparation and coordination of external audits

• Assist with month end analysis & ad-hoc reporting

• Ensure financial records are compliant with GAAP

• Establish and monitor the implementation of GAAP policies and procedures

• Maintain our Fixed Asset register and record monthly entries for depreciation/additions/disposals

• Assist with tax documentation

Education/Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Financed required

• 1-2 years of experience in the Accounting/Finance field required

Qualifications

• Above average proficiency in MS Excel

• Knowledge of standard accounting policies and procedures required

• Strong written and communicative skills

• Ability to multitask
