The Staff Accountant will manage various accounting functions, including account reconciliations, month-end closes, and compliance with accounting standards.
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Staff Accountant located in Los Angeles, CA. The Staff Accountant will manage a broad range of areas, including inventory, accruals, accounts payable, fixed assets, and sales tax preparation. Key responsibilities performing account reconciliations, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies. The role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
- Experience with inventory, accruals, accounts payable, fixed assets, and sales tax preparation
- Conduct 3-way matching for all inventory invoices
- Perform account reconciliations to maintain completeness and accuracy
- Perform any other analysis and ad-hoc projects ranging from streamline processes and identifying efficiencies to cost analysis and reconciliation
Required Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience in similar accounting function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Experience in NetSuite is a strong plus.
- Immense attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a team player.
