This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who’s looking to combine technical skill with purpose. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and grant tracking, while supporting programs that provide families with housing stability and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices and payments, ensuring proper coding and documentation
  • Maintain accurate general ledger activity, including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
  • Record donations, ACH deposits, and contributions in coordination with the Development team
  • Support grant and program accounting, ensuring expenses align with funding allocations
  • Maintain organized digital and physical files to support audits and compliance reviews
  • Assist with budget preparation, agency monitoring visits, and other special projects

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit preferred)
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and general comfort with accounting systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Clear, professional communication skills and a collaborative spirit
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities
