Performs monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations, researches discrepancies, prepares journal entries, supports year-end 1099 preparation, handles client billings, and maintains fixed asset and depreciation records. The role also provides accounting analysis to management and requires proficiency with Excel, MAS-200, FAS Best, and Microsoft Office.
The Staff Accountant is responsible for the reconciliation of all bank and general ledger balance sheet accounts as well as various other general accounting duties.

What You'll Do
- Monthly reconciliation of the general ledger balance sheet accounts for all companies. This includes locating support for entries made to accounts, analyzing balances, researching discrepancies and preparing entries as needed.
- Responsible for making analytical assessments as to the disposition of entries and balances in the general ledger to present to accounting manager.
- Creates various monthly journal entries.
- Reconciliation of all bank accounts, researching of discrepancies and preparation of journal entries when needed for all companies.
- Assist with the preparation of year end 1099’s for all companies.
- Preparation of monthly client billings.
- Maintain fixed asset system and record assets/depreciation on FAS system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- BS degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance preferred.
- 2+ years accounting experience of staff accountant or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MAS-200, FAS Best software required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- This position follows a hybrid work structure. The office is located at 1668 S. Garfield Ave., 2nd Floor, Alhambra, CA 91801.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $70,000 to $80,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future), experience, and other job-related factors.
