CTEC is seeking a SSDI/SSI Policy Expert to join our remote team, with candidates located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Job Description: Serves as the definitive authority on Social Security Disability Insurance and Supplemental Security Income policies, regulations, and procedures. Interprets complex federal disability law, provides policy guidance for training development, and ensures training materials accurately reflect current regulations and administrative procedures for disability benefits determination.
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Law, or related field with 10+ years of Social Security policy experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of Social Security Act, CFR Title 20, and related federal disability regulations
- Experience with federal policy development, regulatory interpretation, and compliance requirements
- Background in federal administrative law, disability determination processes, and appeals procedures
- Delivers training, workshops, and provides technical assistance
- Security clearance eligibility and experience with sensitive policy information and federal decision-making processes
Clearance: Must be able to Obtain Public Trust Clearance.
